School in Cobourg locked down on Monday after threat received

Members of the Cobourg Police Service are currently on scene at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School in Cobourg, conducting an active investigation following a report of threats.

The notice was sent to the media at 10:24 am on Monday, April 13th.

As part of the investigation, a search of the building was conducted. Police have determined there are no immediate
threats to the school at this time. No physical injuries have been reported.

The investigation is ongoing, and the school will remain in lockdown until further notice. Members of the public are
asked to avoid the area.
