Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person after a family dispute late last week.
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Prince Edward County OPP responded to a call for service regarding a family dispute at a residence in the County.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
· Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – two counts
· Assault
· Fail to comply with probation
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
