A break-and-enter from earlier this month has resulted in charges.
Belleville Police officials say video surveillance captured a male using an object to gain entry through a door back on April 2, after which he was seen taking a toolbox and leaving the building.
Police reviewed the footage and identified a suspect.
Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night, Belleville Police observed the suspect walking on Front Street.
The investigation resulted in charges against a 59-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address on charges of break and enter and theft under $5,000.
He was held for a bail hearing.
