Pegasus Cheer athletes delivered outstanding performances across two consecutive competition weekends, earning top placements and showcasing their hard work and dedication.

On Sunday, March 22nd, Pegasus Cheer competed at Kick’s Celebration in Boisbriand, Quebec. Three teams took the floor and earned the following placements:

  • Capricorn (U12 All Star Elite Level 2 Non-Tumble, ages 8 to 12) – First Place

  • Virgo (U16 All Star Prep Level 1, ages 12 to 16) – Eighth Place

  • Leo (U8 All Star Prep Level 1, ages 5 to 8) – Excellent Performance

On March 27th to 29th, Pegasus Cheer competed at Cheer Challenge Cup in Blue Mountain, an end-of-season Nationals event for Novice and Prep teams. Five teams and four individual athletes competed, earning the following placements:

  • Indy Grace Freeland (Open Cheer Abilities, ages 16+) – First Place

  • Indy Olivia Moore (U8 Level 1, ages 5 to 8) – Third Place

  • Indy Aaralynn Ford (U12 Level 2, ages 8 to 12) – Third Place

  • Indy Kaelynn Whyte (U12 Level 1, ages 8 to 12) – Fourth Place

  • Capricorn (U12 All Star Elite Level 2 Non-Tumble, ages 8 to 12) – Fourth Place

  • Virgo (U16 All Star Prep Level 1, ages 12 to 16) – Fourth Place

  • Leo (U8 All Star Prep Level 1, ages 5 to 8) – Excellent Performance

  • Libra (U12 Novice Level 1, ages 8 to 12) – Outstanding Performance

  • Gemini (U6 Novice Level 1, ages 3 to 6) – Outstanding Performance

Notably, all Pegasus teams and individuals at Cheer Challenge Cup achieved the distinction of ‘hitting zero’, meaning they completed their routine with no deductions or legalities – an impressive accomplishment that reflects the athletes’ commitment to excellence

“Cheer Challenge Cup was an incredible competition. Not only did the teams get to perform twice, but there were so many opportunities to bond with teammates and family,” says Jamie Abreu, parent of a Virgo athlete. “We were all so excited and proud to hear that not only did Virgo achieve fourth place, but they also hit zero!”
