The City of Belleville is advising residents of temporary changes to curbside waste collection due to the upcoming Easter long weekend.
Collection schedules will be adjusted during the week of Good Friday, April 3, 2026. All collection days will move one day earlier than usual.
Residents are asked to note the following changes:
  • Tuesday collection will move to Monday
  • Wednesday collection will move to Tuesday
  • Thursday collection will move to Wednesday
  • Friday collection will move to Thursday
There will be no collection on Good Friday (Friday, April 3). Collection will resume and operate as normal the following week, with no changes during the week of Easter Monday, April 6-10.
Residents are reminded to place their waste, recycling and green bin materials at the curb by 7 a.m. on their revised collection day.
The city thanks residents for their cooperation and encourages everyone to plan ahead to avoid missed collection.
