Prince Edward County Career Fair returns Thursday, March 12

By Paul Martin Mar 10, 2026 | 4:21 AM

More than 40 employers will gather at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) on Thursday, March 12 for the Prince Edward County Career Fair.

The free event, which takes place from 12 pm – 6 pm, is open to all job seekers, students, and employers from across the region. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet employers face‑to‑face, explore available positions, and learn about local industries.

This year, the event will include a dedicated students-only hour from 12 pm – 1 pm. Local employers will be ready to meet students, discuss career pathways, answer questions about training and qualifications, and highlight summer employment and co‑op opportunities.

The career fair will open to all job seekers at 1 pm.

Job seekers are encouraged to arrive with copies of their resume and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews. There are many career opportunities available including hospitality, trades, health care, retail, agriculture, municipal services, manufacturing, and tourism. Employers are hiring part-time, full-time, seasonal, and permanent year-round positions.

Employment support organizations will also be on-site to provide guidance on resumes, training programs, and job search strategies.

The Career Fair is presented by Career Edge, in partnership with the County of Prince Edward.

Employers wishing to register for a free table or anyone looking for more information is encouraged to contact Krista Bentley at Picton Career Edge at 613.476.6456 or kristab@careeredge.on.ca. No registration is required for job seekers.
