Nature and birding enthusiasts are getting their annual opportunity to meet in Presqu’ile Bay this weekend.

This weekend marks the 48th Annual Waterfowl Weekend at Presqu’ile Provincial Park.

Waterfowl from over 20 species arrive each spring to rest and feed before moving north to their nesting areas, giving birdwatchers a great opportunity to see and appreciate a wide range of waterfowl species.

Those new to birding, as well as experienced birders eager to expand their knowledge, can learn more from naturalist-led viewings.

More on the weekend can be seen at this link.
