Children and families attending the event can enjoy a variety of festive activities while exploring the Village, including balloon artistry, face painting, sweet treats, and interactive opportunities to tour the Village streets. The event offers families a chance to experience the Village in a fun and welcoming environment while learning more about the important safety programs offered throughout the year.
Each year, the Children’s Safety Village provides hands-on safety education to more than 1,500 children across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, teaching essential skills such as pedestrian safety, bicycle safety, fire prevention, and emergency preparedness.
“We are thrilled to welcome families back to the Village for this special community event,” said Rachelle Baldock, Executive Director of the Children’s Safety Village of Belleville. “Easter in the Village is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy time together while experiencing the Village and the important safety education we provide to children across our region.”
The Children’s Safety Village is especially grateful for the support of the Belleville Professional Firefighters Benevolence Committee, who have stepped forward as the Presenting Sponsor for this year’s event.
“The support of the Belleville Professional Firefighters Benevolence Committee reflects their deep commitment to keeping children and families safe in our community,” Baldock added. “Partnerships like this help us create meaningful experiences for families while continuing to deliver life-saving safety education.”
Families are encouraged to attend and celebrate the season while enjoying a morning of community, fun, and learning.
