UPDATE – Kingston Police updated the media at 7 am on Thursday to say that a suspect had been identified, arrested and charged with mischief and arson – disregard for human life.
ORIGINAL STORY – Members of the Kingston Police Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in an arson investigation from almost a month ago.
On January 7 at approximately 2:00 a.m. a fire was set by the suspect in the vestibule of a local downtown business located in the 300 block of Princess Street.
The fire, which was put out by Kingston Fire and Rescue, caused approximately $10,000 worth of damage. No one was injured during this incident.
