UPDATE – The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad would like to advise the public that a Federal Offender who went unlawfully at large on January 06, 2025, has been apprehended in Flinton, ON.
Tanner Sweet was located and arrested by the ROPE Squad with assistance from the Lennox and Addington OPP Detachment, the OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP K9 Unit on Monday.
The Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this investigation.
ORIGINAL STORY – The search in on for a federal offender who is known to spend time in the Quinte Region.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of his Statutory Release.
Tanner SWEET is described as a Caucasian male, 31 years old, 6′ (183cm) tall, 160 lbs (72kgs), black hair, brown eyes with several tattoos, including:
- ‘Script’ and a tear on his face
- “Sweet” on his neck
- Demon face on his right leg
- Lion, wolf, flames, script, skull and dagger on his body
Tanner SWEET is serving a 2 year and 1 day sentence for:
- Break, Enter and Commit Theft
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Prohibited Driving
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
