The City of Belleville is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Barlow as Director of Environmental Services.
Barlow brings more than 25 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater sector, with a career spanning operations, regulatory compliance, infrastructure planning, and environmental services leadership. He has held operational and management roles overseeing water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution and collection systems, and licensed compliance programs within regulated municipal environments.
Throughout his career, Barlow has led operational teams, modernized practices and procedures, supported emergency response planning and regulatory reporting, and worked collaboratively with engineering, finance, and other municipal departments to align day-to-day operations with long-term infrastructure planning.
He has also contributed to environmental and engineering publications on topics such as water loss management and infrastructure renewal, drawing on practical municipal experience.
Barlow stated he is excited to join the city’s team.
“Throughout my career, I’ve focused on delivering safe, reliable water and wastewater services while working closely with teams across the organization to plan for long-term infrastructure needs. I look forward to contributing my experience and working with staff to support environmental stewardship and service excellence for the Belleville community.”
Barlow will begin his new position effective Monday, March 9.
