Belleville Police have charged a driver with impaired after a vehicle was found stuck in a snowbank.
On February 5th (Wednesday night) at 8:57pm, Belleville Police responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision in the city’s west end.
It was reported that a vehicle had driven into a snowbank and became stuck.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the male driver and observed possible signs of impairment.
As a result of investigation, Richard Beals, 67–year–old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and Operation while impaired– blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
He was released on an appearance notice with a scheduled court date in March.
