Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream is open at Homestead Marketplace in Trenton

By Paul Martin Feb 13, 2026 | 5:28 AM

A fresh new chapter has begun at Homestead Marketplace as the former BeaverTails location officially reopens as Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream—a locally owned ice cream and fry shoppe dedicated to celebrating Quinte-area flavours, supporting local producers, and offering quality comfort food at great value.

Curley’s is proud to announce that the shop is now open seven days a week from 12pm to 8pm, welcoming families, friends, and visitors to enjoy their new locally inspired menu.

Curley’s is part of Homestead Marketplace, a family-owned and operated group of companies led by Mike and Nickey Eden, whose long-standing ties to Quinte West have shaped the
Marketplace’s reputation for supporting the community. The transformation into Curley’s continues that mission, placing emphasis on local sourcing, community pride, and making
visitors feel like part of the family.

“Curley’s is about more than great food,” said Mike Eden. “It’s about celebrating the people and small businesses that make this region special. We’re proud to partner with amazing local
producers like Reid’s Dairy, Rachel’s Tarts, and Maple Dale Cheese…and to bring all that hometown goodness together under one roof.”

Our community can look forward to a great new menu featuring locally sourced hard and soft ice cream, signature fries and onion rings, comforting classics, and unique specialty items inspired
by local tastes and traditions.

Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream is now open at Homestead Marketplace, 6 Douglas Road, Trenton, every day from 12 PM to 8 PM.
