Comfort Inn Belleville celebrated a ribbon cutting re-opening event on February 11, by supporting seven local non-profit and sports organizations.

Comfort Inn Belleville new owners, Shahid Mahmood, Irfan Waraich, and Hamid Waraich, announced a $500 donation to each of the seven non-profit and sports organizations that attended the re-opening event.

Comfort Inn Belleville donated $500 to each of the following:

  • Enrichment Care for Mental Health
  • Gleaner’s Food Bank Quinte
  • Quinte Bay Gymnastics
  • Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings
  • Hospice Quinte
  • Quinte Curling Club
  • Tweed & Co Theatre

Belleville Chamber of Commerce and the City of Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis, and other City staff, members of council, and local dignitaries, were in attendance at the ribbon cutting event. Tours of the refreshed and modern hotel were offered, showing rooms suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

Highlights of the renovation include:

  • Newly refreshed guest rooms featuring updated furnishings, modern décor, and improved comfort.
  • Renovated public spaces designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • New fitness center designed to help guests stay active and energized while traveling.
  • Upgraded breakfast area to be completed in Spring 2026.

The renovation aligns with Comfort Inn’s brand promise of delivering friendly service, cozy accommodations, and great value. Guests can continue to enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and convenient access to local attractions and business hubs.
