Belleville woman charged with threatening following incident at group home

Belleville Police have laid a threatening charge following an incident at a group home in the city.

On January 7th (Wednesday) at 9:41am, Belleville Police responded to a report of a female uttering threats towards staff at a group home in the city’s east end.

Upon arrival, officers learned the female was bound by conditions to be of good behaviour and keep the peace.

As a result, a 26-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with:

· Failure to comply with a release order

· Uttering threats

She was held for a bail hearing. No name was released.
