Damage done to door of residence in reported mischief incident

Belleville Police is seeking video footage and information in a mischief incident early Saturday morning.

Around 4:20 a.m., Belleville Police received a report that the door of a residence on Raycroft Drive had been kicked in, but when officers arrived, no suspects were present.

On video footage, police spotted four unknown individuals walking together in a group and observed a suspect approaching the residence and kicking the door, causing significant damage.

All individuals then fled the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
