By Hailey MacDonald Oct 21, 2025 | 8:51 PM

Belleville Police have arrested a man after a city business had a number of items stolen on Monday.

At 5:11pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of theft at a business in the city’s north end.

It was reported that a male had stolen items and fled on foot.

Officers attended the area and located a suspect matching the description. The stolen items were recovered.

As a result of investigation, Todd Plews, a 48-year-old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in November.
