A traffic stop led to drug charges for a Belleville woman on Wednesday morning.

A Belleville Police officer was on patrol in the city’s east end and spotted a vehicle committing a traffic offence around 3:30 am.

An investigation led to the seizure of drugs from the vehicle.

34-year-old Sabrina Tremblay of Belleville faces two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

She is set to appear in court next month.
